"True friendship is a plant of slow growth...

A little about me... I must first be honest to say that I'm in the process of coming out of a marriage of more than 11 years. I love life. I love to laugh and have fun. I enjoy dancing especially line dancing i.e. cupid shuffle. I like walking and taking rides to enjoy the earth’s beauty. I'm a sucker for beautiful landscaping. I love the rain and I love to cook especially the dishes I'm famous for. My best features are my heart; I love hard. Those who have gained access to it, family & friends alike are fortunate having the opportunity to know the value of the jewel that Father (God) says I am. I also inherited my mothers "bedroom" eyes and my daddy's smile. About the one I'm looking for... My idea of an ideal mate is one that is assertive but humble at the appropriate times. He will be laid back but also spontaneous and willing to try new things. He will be a man of character, honest, one with a sense of humor but able to discern when its time to be serious. However, because I'm not really available right now I'm just looking for friends; not the friends with benefits brand that run their course when the benefits run out. I'm a traditionalist who believes that the benefit in and of itself is having a friend in the first place. Friendship, the foundation of any strong relationship whether short or long term. A friend is someone who in truth is honest with you no matter what the fallout, a dedicated individual who has your back no matter what, or who comes or who goes.
