I am an honest, well-educated, and happy person (generally). I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places. I especially enjoy bookstores, reading, and listening to music. I am a romantic at heart who enjoys long walks, holding hands, and cuddling on the sofa. I can be adventurous and spontaneous and enjoy pleasant surprises. I believe that we are in the world to help each other to be better people, so I believe in giving back to society in ways that God has blessed us. I am looking for an honest man who knows how to be with and treat a woman; not some "fly" guy who is looking for some "babe" to carry on his arm. I would like to meet a regular kind of man: considerate, thoughtful, educated gentleman (the old fashioned kind) who offers to open doors for a lady, who is not afraid to laugh at himself or tease his woman, and who can carry on a decent conversation. Describe the perfect evening.
It's Saturday, and the sky is overcast and threatening to rain. We spend the morning in a bookstore, then off to a nice warm coffee shop for conversation in the afternoon. Later, we go to dinner and then to listen to some jazz. The weekend ends on Sunday evening, cuddling on the sofa while watching (or not) an old black and white movie.
How many kids would you like to have?
I've already raised three beautiful children. They are all grown up and living in three different states.

People who monopolize the conversation; loud and obnoxious public behavior; men who use unreasonable profanity in front of women; people who throw their trash on the street; mothers who spoil their children and are surprised when they act out in the stores
